Day 1 TREES Erasmus course
After the icebreaker activity, in which the participants got to know each other better, various activities were carried out on the subject of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Afterwards, teachers were able to use different applications which can be used as educational tools both by teachers and students. These apps include Nearpod, Baamboozle, Quizlet, Wordwall and Learning Apps. This allowed the participants to create a student activity using the SDGs, which was shared in group.
The second part of the day started with a group activity where students had to recite as many SDGs as possible. Each group corrected the other one.
To conclude the day, we focused on the SDG: Life on land. There were two activities: one where the alphabet was used to write down names of animals and plants as a way to spur students' awareness on biodiversity. The other one consisted in giving short answers while a video was being played.
Finally, participants answered a Google Forms survey requested by Alpha School of English.
